Abstract
The 5th Symposium of the Scottish Marine Energy Research Programme (ScotMER), organized by Marine Scotland, presented recent research on seabirds, fish and fisheries, marine mammals, diadromous fish, ecosystem level research and socioeconomics, in relation to offshore renewable developments in Scotland.
During the Research Access to Wind Farms session, the ECOWind Programme Champions at Howell Marine Consulting will present their current work and then lead a discussion about a process underway that is bringing together offshore wind developers and academic researchers to discuss site access needs and requirements for research in offshore wind farms in the UK.
