AB - The third summer survey for the NYSERDA offshore planning area (OPA) was started on July 29 and completed August 16, 2018. The survey took eight days to complete with the down-days in August caused by weather conditions. These surveys are designed to characterize the usage of the area by marine fauna to aid in the planning for offshore wind.
