Abstract
The Environmental Effects Monitoring Program (EEMP) was started in September 2009 prior to the deployment of the turbine and has been operating since then.
Our environmental monitoring program is reviewed by an independent Environmental Monitoring Advisory Committee (EMAC), which made recommendations to FORCE on the monitoring program. These recommendations were put in place by FORCE.
This report fulfills reporting requirements for environmental monitoring under the Fisheries Act Authorization (Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO)) and the provincial Environmental Assessment (EA).
