WREN (Working Together to Resolve Environmental Effects of Wind Energy), also known as IEA Wind Task 34, was established in 2012 to address environmental issues associated with development of land based and offshore wind energy projects. The goal of WREN is to facilitate international collaboration and advance the global understanding of environmental effects of wind energy to progress the industry in an environmentally responsible manner.
